Crazy but True
South Sudan is the youngest country in the world, becoming independent in 2011. Its capital Juba became a national capital almost overnight, and the country had to design a flag, write an anthem and print a currency essentially from scratch. It also contains the Sudd, one of the largest wetlands on Earth.
