Crazy but True
In the Indian state of Meghalaya, villagers grow their bridges instead of building them. They train the roots of living rubber fig trees across rivers over decades, and the finished bridges get stronger as the trees keep growing. Some are believed to be more than 500 years old and are still walked across every day.
